Three.js Interplanetary Virtual Experience Worlds?

Can we create a interplanetary worlds like SimonDev’s?

This video fascinated me for a very long time, imagining what it would be like to traverse from land to space then warp speed to another planet then land on that planet surface seamlessly.

This video is what inspired me to learn three.js, to build virtual worlds, I was not able to build interplanetary virtual experience, but this kick start my interest and pushed me to create open world virtual places that has helped my architectural career.

I borrowed most of my technics to allow my virtual experience engine to handle massive city environments using the same worker methods demonstrated in SimonDiv’s videos, not exact workers, but worker JS and Web Assembly really helped made my virtual experience engine (asset optimization & physics) run efficiently and faster, bypassing bottlenecks of a single thread JavaScript.

You might check out the Mars Project by Attila Schroeder. He is trying to do what you describe with Mars. He uses a grid system based on another video by SimonDev. And he has also worked with virtual textures to create a very detailed visual map of Mars that scales nicely.
