Water2 breaks performance on mobile


I’m using Water2 and looks absolutely great. But when I enter to the site on muy mobile (wich is a good phone) the performance drops to 2fps.

Any suggestion here?

Does it also slow down when running the official example ?

Since this particular water effect is reflective and refractive in real-time, it is quite expensive. Consider to use Water or a custom solution if you need to support a wide range of devices.

I’ve tried but its annoying because needs to be Linear OutputEncondign and NoTonemapping. That breaks my scene.

There is any way to make Water2 less expensive?

With the next release r127 end of this month, this restriction will go away.
