Not three.js, but web-curious: BELEK, a Godot tactical FPS set in Rouen

Hello everyone,

I know this forum is about three.js, and BELEK isn’t a three.js project, so please move it if it doesn’t fit. Many of you build multiplayer shooters in the browser, which is exactly the experience I’m hoping to learn from.

BELEK is a Counter-Strike-inspired FPS that I’m making with Godot. Tactical, round-based, high skill ceiling. It’s set in Rouen, France (my city) and the presentation leans into irony and a bit of trolling, while the actual play is meant to be tense and competitive.

I’m a cybersecurity engineer, not a professional game dev. With AI, I can build things that feel a little crazy for a solo hobbyist.

What I’d love: lots of feedback, particularly on netcode choices and whether a web build could ever make sense for this kind of game. Help is welcome as well.

It starts free, then will cost 5 to 9 euros later.

LinkedIn finds me as Metin SAYGIN; there’s also vernam.fr (my site).

Replies here will get answered, I’m following the topic.
