Yes it’s good to be as ambitious as possible with effects and addons but if the idea breaks somewhere along the line of command it’s probably best to weigh up if the idea is intended for complete inclusivity or a fun exclusive effect / addon for a select few who use the same setup, not to say I’m disagreeing with you but from what you’re saying, until something works or is fixed upstream a product is practically useless in terms of its broadest reach?
