Is THREEjs/webXR able to use Apples lidar scanning?

Hey, the new iPhones 12 were released with lidar scanning. I think iPhone/ iPad 11 is also capable of lidar scanning already. The topic is very interesting to me and my projects. AR opportunities with precise details of your environment are great. I think AR will be a big thing for industrial, advertising and gaming aspects sooner or later.
I guess for now its only available in Apples ARkit 3.5. Is an implementation to webXR or even THREEjs in sight or even possible somehow already?
