I am looking for a web developer with strong experience in audio programming, Web Audio API, and 3D interfaces (WebGL/Three.js) to build a small interactive 3D spatial audio demo for my company website (WordPress / SC360).
The demo should work similarly to Atmoky’s spatial audio showcase, where the user can:
Wear headphones and hear spatial/immersive audio
Select between 3 different audio tracks (music stems, sound story, ambiences)
Each track includes up to 4 audio sources positioned in 3D
Move the sound objects with the mouse (drag & drop in 3D space)
Audio updates in real-time with proper spatialization
This is NOT a plugin from the store—this requires custom programming.
I’m genuinely excited about your 3D spatial audio demo request. This is very close to the kind of interactive WebGL and audio-driven experiences I’ve built before. I’m a WebGL and Three.js specialist with strong hands-on experience in Web Audio API, real-time audio processing, and immersive 3D interfaces for the web.
I’ve built custom interactive demos where audio sources exist as real 3D objects, respond instantly to user input, and update spatialization in real time based on position and listener movement. I fully understand this is not a store plugin but a custom-built experience that needs tight synchronization between graphics, audio, and user interaction.
Here’s how I’d approach your demo:
3D Scene & Interaction (Three.js / WebGL):
Build a lightweight 3D scene with draggable sound objects, smooth mouse interaction, and clear visual feedback so users intuitively understand spatial positioning.
Spatial Audio with Web Audio API:
Implement proper 3D spatialization using PannerNode and AudioListener, optimized for headphones, ensuring realistic directionality, distance attenuation, and movement response.
Multi-Track Audio System:
Support switching between 3 different audio tracks, each with up to 4 independent audio sources, while keeping transitions smooth and glitch-free.
Real-Time Audio Updates:
As users drag sound objects in 3D space, audio updates instantly with no latency, maintaining immersion similar to high-end spatial audio showcases like Atmoky.
WordPress / SC360 Integration:
Deliver the demo as a clean, embeddable module that works seamlessly within your existing WordPress / SC360 setup without bloating the site.
Why I’m a Great Fit:
I combine deep WebGL and Three.js experience with real audio programming knowledge, not just visual demos. I understand the challenges of syncing 3D interaction with real-time spatial audio and delivering something that feels smooth, immersive, and technically solid on the web. You’ll get a custom-built demo that’s performant, intuitive, and polished enough to represent your company’s technology confidently.
As I told you the audio interface would be 2D. I need 3 objets and 3 tracks. Every track should manage the 3 objects. I have some questions about the audio. In my case I will provide AmbiX files already validated: ACN / SN3D. How would you handle decoding and rotation in the browser?
Each object basically represents a set of parameters: azimuth, elevation, distance and gain. How do you usually map UI movement to the Web Audio node graph?
Could you send me example of your sound jobs?
Maybe we can arrange a google meet , meeting at the end of the week?
Hi. I’ve built interactive spatial audio demos exactly like the Atmoky showcase you referenced, and I’m an individual developer who can integrate this custom WebGL/Three.js and Web Audio API solution directly into your WordPress/SC360 site.
For a recent client in virtual theater, we needed to let visitors experience a 360-degree soundscape. The challenge was achieving precise, real-time audio spatialization synced with interactive 3D objects. I built a system using Three.js for the visual WebGL interface and the Web Audio API’s PannerNode for true spatial sound, creating a fully immersive demo where users could drag sound sources and hear seamless, lag-free positional updates.
My solution for your project will create a custom, lightweight Three.js scene with draggable 3D objects, each precisely mapped to a PannerNode for authentic spatial audio that updates in real-time with user interaction.
Focusing on your goals, I’ll ensure:
The demo is perfectly tuned for headphone listening, which will give your visitors an immediate and convincing immersive audio experience right on your website.
The interface is intuitive and performant, so your users can drag sounds effortlessly without any audio glitches or visual lag, keeping them engaged.
The entire system is built as a self-contained, custom module, ensuring it integrates cleanly with your WordPress/SC360 setup without conflicting with other plugins or themes.
To match the Atmoky example precisely, could you share if the three audio tracks (music stems, sound story, ambiences) should share the same 3D source positions, or will each track have its own unique set of sound object locations?
I’d love to discuss more about the project through Call.
Best regards, Tyler
I´m sound engineer and I work with binaural plugins (IEM plugins) I work in live with sound system based in sound objects (Soundscape, L-Lisa). The idea is making content for these platforms and that´s why I want to make a website. In the website I need a 2d interface ( I attached 2 examples with objetcs and like a plugin interface) with 9 objects with parameters like ;Azimuth, elevation, distance…..Gain/volume in every object
Every object should be able to me moved by the user with the mouse in real time and it would simulate the parameters I told you before.
I would send you the files in Ambix format. I edit and mixing that sound files. I´ll need two languages and 4-5 sections in the website and I need certain kind of personalization of the website (my lettering , background)
I really like you website and your reference. If you´re interested and you want to have a meeting let me know. I would need the website to mid January
I attached requierements, of the sound and the website
If you have another opinion about how to do the audio integration I´m open to accept new ideas.
Hello @DavidJ
Could you have some time to check my message in message inbox I have sent?
As a software vision developer, I have previous very relevant exp. in this field.
hope to have a chat.
