Hi! I’m the developer of the open source 2D JS game engine Replay.
It’s currently using the canvas API to render everything, but to give it a performance boost I’d like someone to add a WebGL renderer for it too. I’ve already experimented with other renderers but they all have a very OOP API which doesn’t work with Replay very well, so something more custom is required.
This will be a paid short-term freelance project starting immediately. I’m looking for someone with:
- Experience in WebGL APIs and shaders (not libraries)
- Knowedgable in optimising WebGL performance, especially low-end mobile devices (can even suggest adjustments to Replay’s API)
