Two months ago, I introduced VXLverse, an innovative platform that I hoped would revolutionize the world of 3D gaming. Today, I’m thrilled to announce that the beta version of VXLverse is ready and waiting for creators!
VXLverse is more than just a gaming platform—it’s a creative tool that lets you craft your own story-based games or even create virtual tours, as some of our testers have done. This is all possible using your own assets and geometries. With our intuitive 3D editor, you can place objects in your world and then download the coordinates of those objects, providing an unmatched level of customization.
You’re free to upload up to 1GB of assets, providing the resources you need to create the world you envision. Once your masterpiece is ready, you can publish it to our server and share it with the community. Discover and play games created by other users—it’s an ecosystem of creativity waiting for you to explore!
VXLverse is released under the MIT License, making it completely open-source and free. You can access our code at Github. Feel free to clone, fork, star, or contribute in any way you see fit.
To help you get started, I’ve created a helpful tutorial playlist that you can find here
Please bear in mind that as this is a beta version, there might be some bugs. But fear not! I’m personally working in my free time to fix bugs and add new features.
Embrace the next level of gaming with VXLverse, a universe where you’re not just a player, but a creator. Start your journey today at http://vxlverse.com/. I can’t wait to see the worlds you’ll create!
