Three.js & React Developer for 3D Shed Configurator (Freelance/Contract)

Hi,

We’re looking for a skilled Three.js + React developer to help us build a 3D Shed Configurator — a web-based tool that allows users to customize and preview shed models in real time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing an interactive 3D configurator using Three.js
  • Integrating the 3D view with a modern React frontend
  • Implementing key features like material selection, dimension changes, door/window placement, and camera controls
  • Ensuring responsive design and good performance on desktop and mobile
  • (Optional) Working with backend APIs or a CMS to store/load configurations

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Three.js/WebGL
  • Solid React (and ideally Redux or similar state management) knowledge
  • Ability to optimize 3D assets and performance for the web
  • Good UI/UX awareness and attention to detail
  • Experience with product configurators, architectural visualization, or similar tools is a plus

Project Type: Freelance / Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Estimated 12 weeks (can vary based on scope)
Budget: Competitive, based on experience
