Scene content as texture for 2nd scene´s plane


I have to scenes (scene1, scene2).

I´m wondering if I could render “scene1” (it has just one cube added) to a texture and keeping its background transparent.

Then, using that texture (with transparency) as material/map for a plane on “scene2”?

Have you already tried to render the first scene into a render target and then use its texture property for the mentioned plane mesh?

Yes, so far so good - thing is, it has a black background instead of being transparent all around the cube… ?

Has the render target a RGBAFormat?
