Recreating a volumetric light effect

I was blown away by this website: https://ava-digital.ru/. I tried to recreate the effect on the first fold by placing an SVG over a light source with god rays effect applied (from GitHub - vanruesc/postprocessing: A post processing library that provides the means to implement image filter effects for three.js.). I can’t seem to get it to look like the website at all. This is how it looks right now: https://imgur.com/a/rB8mkDs. There is no volumetric effect at all. Without the SVG there seems to be a volumetric effect. How do I get it to look like the website? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Create a rectangular shape with a hole, put the “light source” mesh behind it, apply GodRaysEffect from that library.

I’ve got that visual result:

PS used that lib for the first time, and the lib is cool

Yup, it’s a massive improvement over the three.js postprocessing
You’ll get even closer if you add a noise pass and set the background to something like #050505 so the noise affects it.
