Hello everyone, just wanted to show off what a couple of other guys and I have been working on. It’s a free platform for crowdsourced design, called Orchard ( https://3DOrchard.com ). The platform has a full CAD application, running in the browser utilizing three.js for the visualizations. As a result, all of the designs can be edited in the browser. We are using design “trees” to visualize the revision history of a design, similar to Git. Unlike crowdsourced funding (like Kickstarter), crowdsourced design will enable product ideas to develop from continuous and immediate design contributions. We hope you like it.
