Aslong as the file is valid (= meets the glTF-specification ). I don’t see a reason why you should not able to create 3d models in 3dsmax, export it as gltf/glb and import/load into threejs. Docs: https://threejs.org/docs/#manual/en/introduction/Loading-3D-models
