We are building a node-based 3D editor tool and are looking for an 3d developer with proven experience creating similar systems. This is a remote position ($40/hr, Full Time Role).
We are only considering candidates with strong portfolios and prior experience in node-based 3D editor development (similar to Blender’s node editor, Unreal’s material editor, or Houdini’s workflow).
Responsibilities:
Design and implement a node-graph based editor for 3D workflows.
Integrate with Three.js / Babylon.js / WebGL for rendering.
Develop smooth drag-and-drop node editing, connections, and live previews.
Build scalable systems for materials, geometry, and procedural nodes.
Collaborate on advanced features (shaders, procedural generation, physics, etc.).
Requirements:
Proven experience with node-based 3D or visual editors.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and modern frontend frameworks.
Deep expertise with 3D graphics (meshes, shaders, transformations).
Backend knowledge of Node.js.
Ability to deliver production-ready, scalable code.
Nice to Have:
Background in Blender, Unity, Unreal, Houdini, or similar node systems.
Dear Joseph, here’s Ethan a senior full stack engineer , especially, in my career I’ve extensive experience in 3D website build as Saas platform.
I’d like to share my experience and show my expertise with you.
Could you please leave your email can I reach out you?
I really like what you’re building with the node-based 3D editor. I’ve spent the last few years working on WebGL/Three.js tools, custom shaders, and interactive 3D editing. I also have 10+ YOE.
Nice to meet Joseph.
Your project is a little big, but I already have experience with projects like this. I have hands-on knowledge in loading 3D models (GLTF), applying materials, user interaction, server communication with Socket.io, MERN architecture, and writing shaders (fragment/vertex). I also worked with companies related to Web3D such as ThatOpen and TechSoft.
Because of this, I can say with confidence that I can deliver this project on time and with high-quality performance. I’m also very interested in working long-term with your company.
I’ve already sent you a DM here on this site.
Have a good day.
Hi @Joseph.Node
I’m so interested in this project. I have previously worked for similar-blender node editor.
Of course, it was core Three.js and old version.
