2d drop shadow or fake shadow

Hi guys.

Is it possible to add a fake or 3d shadow to an object, like the drop-shadow in CSS?

With CSS ? Unless you model is something easy and your camera is static, I dont think so.
But you can use shadowmaps with threejs, those work. Or you can do baked shadow textures via a 3D program.
