Opacity bug in materials documentation

In any of the material docs (example: three.js docs) when you check “transparent” and move the “opacity” slider, nothing changes. I have this issue in all browsers on MacOS.

It only starts working when moving the “alphaTest” slider.

Is this a threejs bug? Can others confirm this before I open an issue on the repo?
