Some might find it interesting and some useful.
The attached picture shows a mobile version of my PDB Viewer using lil-gui as a passive legend display.
It is possible to use the lil-gui’s color control and access its $text $display $input objects and manipulate them for passive use. The good side is that even when disabled these entries don’t get dark (shadow covered).
Maybe check the viewer’s code and search for gui just to see all applicable entries but most of the manipulation is done around the line 778.
