I’ve noticed something interesting and a bit puzzling—when we place 2D objects together from a top-down view, they align perfectly and appear to be touching as expected. But when we switch to the 3D view, there’s a visible gap between the models. Has anyone else come across this? What could be causing the discrepancy between the 2D and 3D views? Would love to hear your thoughts or suggestions on how to troubleshoot or fix this.
It’s probably because of the concept of “depth” or the so called “3rd dimension”. In the 2d view the objects may appear to be close together, but this is deceptive because their elevations can be vastly different. When you observe this in 3d, the 3rd dimension becomes more clear, and thus you can see a gap.
