Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a few people to spend 5 minutes testing a Three.js website I’m building for my product, Fliplamp. The url is https://thefliplamp.com/
Fliplamp is a customizable steampunk/industrial lamp that plays short looping animations using a physical flipbook-like mechanism. To help customers understand how it works, I built an interactive 3D page where they can see how their own videos or favorite gifs are transformed in this product.
The challenge is that performance varies quite a bit depending on the hardware, and the Creating process of a new Fliplamp is kind of expensive with use of web assembly with ffmpeg wasm port and a local ai model for upscaling and image improvement.
For now it runs only in Desktop/Laptop (mobile is not supported yet).
If you have a few minutes, I’d really appreciate feedback on:
- Overall performance and smoothness
- Scroll-driven animations (mouse wheel controlled)
- The customization/configuration flow
- Loading and processing times
- Your device specs (CPU/GPU)
- Whether you have a dedicated GPU or integrated graphics
- General user experience
Any feedback, performance reports, or optimization suggestions would be extremely helpful.
Again the url: https://thefliplamp.com/
Thanks!
