I found some blatantly stolen content of mine (including the typos in the comments; while comments referring to the origin of the code has been removed). I do not mind if my public code is used or reused, actually this makes me happy, but I do mind if someone else claims authorship on something that I have created.

Claiming authorship for something you obviously couldn’t come up with yourself is pathetic style. Asking the original authors to submit a merge request with your repository after you have deliberately stripped their copyright notice is brazen impudence.
Too bad this forum doesn’t offer the ability to downvote a post and to ignore a poster. You’d be a prime candidate for both.
