Has anyone seen this being achieved as well as sketchfab:?
I would love to see an example for this I love so I did try their SSAO and their implementation seems much worse and not that configurable.

you should be able to use N8AO as part of @react-three/postprocessing @drcmda recently posted this example of it in action…

n8ao is also available vanilla, for both three/jsm/effectcomposer and pmndrs/postprocessing, but definitively prefer the latter because it’s a night and day performance difference in favour of pp. the ao looks beautiful and is comparable to sketchfabs. it’s also fast and looks clean with as few as 6 samples, the old three/jsm/ssao needs > 20 to look acceptable.
