Why doesn’t exist a function to replace shinnedMeshes children of 3D object with same skeleton without broke animation?

Three.is is frequently used in the world of character animations. I can’t find no functions, no working examples related to replace parts of characters. Almost all characters are composed by skinnedMesh children and a lot of time is necessary change a part of the character like clothes, hair, face within characters that have same skeleton without broking animation (ex. Readyplayes characters: replace clothes of character 1 with same child of character 2) What you think about this problem?
