Hey Three.js community!
I’m excited to share VoxiGen — a completely free, in-browser voxel editor powered by AI. No downloads, no installs — just open and start building voxel art, characters, environments, or game assets.
Key features right now:
- AI generation — Turn text descriptions or reference images into voxel models instantly to kickstart your creations
- Real-time WebGL rendering with smooth performance
- Layer system for organizing complex builds (group heads, bodies, props, etc.)
- Intuitive editing tools: paint, extrude, mirror, move, symmetry + more
- Exports coming soon (OBJ, GLTF/GLB, VOX — great for importing into Three.js scenes, Unity, Blender)
I’ve got quick tutorials showing how fast it is:
- Astronaut in under 5 min: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwTi5qHT5k0
- Mini voxel city: (link from showcase if you have it)
- Stegosaurus, Wild West town, etc. on the YouTube channel
It’s early but growing — 200+ creators already! Would love feedback from the voxel/WebGL crowd:
- How’s the renderer/performance feel?
- Best ways to integrate voxel exports into Three.js projects?
- Feature wishes: custom palettes, better smoothing, shader support, collab mode?
Try it live: VoxiGen - Create 3D Voxel Art & Models with AI-Powered Editor
(Quick sign-in optional for saving your work)
Drop your creations below if you give it a spin — I’d love to feature cool ones in the showcase!
