First of all, I just want to say how much I admire the work of abeto.co.
Honestly, among all the incredible web experiences built with Three.js that I’ve seen out there, the creations from this team are always in my top 5 — every single time. 100% respect.
The question I bring here is about how they managed to create that subtle yet super appealing cartoonish vibe on the abeto.co website.
At first glance, I can spot some grainy noise effects, but there’s something about the outlines and borders that gives the site a unique, handcrafted feel.
They seem to have reused this same visual style in their new project, messenger.abeto.co, which, once again, looks amazing.
So, does anyone have any idea how to achieve this kind of texture, “imperfect” outlines, and subtle flicker animation?
I’m not referring to the petal animations themselves (which are really cool, by the way), but specifically to the styling techniques behind this look.
Any insights or pointers would be greatly appreciated — thank you in advance!
