Three.js and hair in fbx characters

A basic question about hair in three.js with the newest fbx-loader and a fbx-character with hair…

What is basically possible in threes with hair and fbx and what is not possible?
Which is the best effort to get the best result for hair in threes? Tips and tricks?

I’m not sure it makes sense to ask a question about hair rendering in context of FBX. You are faced with the same challenges if you represent a character model in any other 3D format.
