- In normal flat mode, the model is placed on the ground (perpendicular to the ground) normally
2.In Earth mode, there is a strange flip and the model does not maintain a normal vertical relationship with the Earth’s surface
I am currently using raycast to dynamically obtain points on the surface of the model, and then placing the model at the point positions. I do not want to achieve this by adding groups. What are some good ways?
Also, depending on the direction of the controller, it may not be correct. I hope the controller is also perpendicular to the surface of the sphere
Assuming that you are talking about Google Earth (or comparable), what you consider perpendicular to the local ground would have some inclination according to the geographical latitude of your location as seen from an outside observer of the world sphere.
I seem to have made a mistake
