Talented Freelancer Required

Partnership: Experiential / 3D / Three.js Developer

Brunyee Studio is growing its network of trusted specialist developers for ad hoc partnership work.

About Us

We partner with marketing and experiential agencies across the UK and Europe, providing specialist capabilities they don’t have in-house, or trust us to deliver at a higher bar. We’re building out our bench of experiential/3D talent to take on more of these briefs.

The Opportunity

Immersive, game-like web experiences: 3D product configurators, interactive brand worlds, playful experiential sites, for large DTC and FMCG clients (Kopparberg, Carlsberg, Heineken, Vodafone, etc). Ad hoc, not a fixed contract. We’re building a network to call on when the right brief lands, offering a steady stream of high-quality, repeatable work in return. Self-employed, invoice per project, freelance not employment.

What You’ll Do

  • Confirm availability at short notice when a brief comes in
  • Contribute to pitches with the Brunyee team
  • Discuss technical requirements with clients (optional)
  • Join client calls (optional, happy to front this if you’d rather stay heads-down)
  • Deliver against the client brief, or help source another developer if it’s not the right fit

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluent English
  • No fixed workflow, work how you work best, mindful of client requirements
  • Able to bring client branding to life as defined/designed
  • Reliable to agreed timelines, with clear checkpoints

What’s In It For You

  • Repeatable, high-quality work, no cold outreach
  • A steady pipeline, not one-off gigs
  • Part of a small studio of proven specialists, each covering their niche

Shoot me an email, at ben@brunyeestudio.com, with:

  • A couple links to past relevant work
  • A quick note on your experience
  • Hourly rate (if any), currency, and location

Still open, Ben? Happy to be on that bench.

Belgrade, UTC+2, so your working day is covered end to end. Three.js and R3F, with design and code being the same person — an agency’s comps don’t lose anything crossing into the browser.

Two things that are open right now rather than a portfolio to read:

Standes — 3D shelving configurator · Artur Smirnov — built for a rack manufacturer. The customer lays out their own room and the plan rebuilds as they drag; the page runs the tool rather than showing a picture of one.

Graded Gyroid — a lattice ray-marched from a distance field — no mesh, no texture, no model file anywhere in it. The geometry comes out of a function, so a late brand change is a value change rather than a re-export and a re-bake. That is the part of experiential 3D that usually breaks when creative lands late.

Most of my paid work has been industrial configurators — dimensions have to be right and it has to survive whatever mid-range Android is actually in the venue. Different client set from Kopparberg, same discipline about the thing working on the day.

Self-employed, invoice per project, available at short notice.
