On-Call Drive - neon-city security driving game in Three.js

On-Call Drive is a browser driving game where you play as the on-call security engineer. You cruise a neon synthwave city in third person, follow the minimap to job beacons, press E to jack into a terminal, and clear short web, cloud, and SOC challenges for CR (credit).

Built for SecurityCipher’s Arcade Labs. Desktop-first WebGL.

What it does

  • Third-person chase cam around a neon city (roads, districts, coast, airfield)
  • 20 street jobs (SQLi, JWT none, XSS, CORS, path traversal, SSRF, and more) with type-in, choice, and tap challenges
  • 3 weather packs on the same city: Night, Sunny, and Snow (fog, lighting, snow particles, instanced drifts)
  • Live HUD: analog speedo, job board, minimap, leaderboard (callsign + CR)
  • NPC traffic, pedestrians, collision grid, and a light drift feel
  • Graphics quality toggle (low mode cuts reflections and draw distance for weaker GPUs)

Controls W / Up - Accelerate S / Down - Brake / reverse A D / Left Right - Steer E - Jack into nearby job Esc - Close terminal / exit

Stack three.js (ES modules), GLTFLoader + DRACOLoader (Kenney CC0 cars / buildings / nature, with procedural fallbacks), EffectComposer + UnrealBloomPass, RoomEnvironment + PMREMGenerator for clearcoat car paint, custom sky ShaderMaterial, FogExp2, InstancedMesh snow, and a WordPress REST leaderboard for pilot scores.
