I have resumed studying the “Fundamentals” series recently revised and moved into the threejs.org site. Unfamiliar to me is the notation of a plus or minus sign in column one. Such as here:

The minus should be the line of code that is being removed, plus - a line of code that is being added.

it does seem a bit unnecessary to show a feature through a diff. and you can actually use color and map together, they’re not exclusive.
