Hm. Reached about 1300, then got hit, and while falling into the abyss the score turned down to 3 points. BTW in half of the times the rings just pass through Naruto, without increasing the score (and no ding bells too). Maybe the rings move to fast and bypass Naruto?
My suggestion would be to make the path more variable, because now it looks like US Highway 412 in Oklahoma - it has a straight road section of over 100 kilometers, AFAIR. Here is a demo of some curved trajectory:
