Built a cinematic 404 page for WordPress using Three.js-style WebGL animation and WooCommerce product data.
In this version:
- Product images are loaded dynamically from WooCommerce (JavaScript category)
- Images become floating 3D meshes with natural spacing
- Drag interaction includes smoothing + inertia for a premium feel
- Motion is time-based, so behavior stays consistent across refresh rates
- Custom shader/post-processing effects add distortion and depth
- Fully integrated into the WordPress theme as a real 404 template
Goal: turn a dead-end 404 into an engaging, branded experience that still supports product discovery.
