WYSIWIG in post editor?

Hi,

as I was finalizing my yesterday’s entry into the showcase category, I encountered something peculiar:

in the preview window of the post editor, the link to my animation was properly shown including image and short description, like so:

Yet, after saving I see my post only showing a simple link text, like this:

Previous history:
as I was preparing my post, I initially pasted the link text like it is shown into the post editor. The preview window displayed an error message within the grey frame complaining about missing oEmbed/OpenGraph tags “Description, Image”. It took me a couple of rounds of trials and "Save"s until I got it right, according to the preview window.

Apparently I am mistaken - maybe my incomplete initial "Save"s got cached somehow and not overwritten by my later, corrected attempts. Is there a way to remedy this?

Thank you for your input. Clearing my browser cache was one of the first things I tried. I also tried different browsers (Safari and Firefox), which have separate caches, where one can’t “taint” the other’s. Besides, even though the word “wordpress” is part of the link I provided, the animation page is a separate html page completely outside of wordpress’ control, other than residing below the wordpress directory.

Anyhow: the problem has apparently outgrown itself and looks OK now.
