Example using objects with breakable geometry, real physics and post-process.
Sometimes it doesn’t break, for mathematical or sentimental reasons, I haven’t figured it out yet.

Maybe need to increase mass or gravity.

Two things struck me:

  • the pieces keep bouncing on the floor seemingly forever. I’m not familiar with physics toolkits, but in real live you would have some “damping” to attenuate the bouncing.
  • the pieces “pierce” through the ground floor. You can see parts of them when looking from an altitude angle below zero.

Both seem to be right. Too little mass, and the wrong type of floor creation.
