I’ve always wanted to shift to PhysX, it looks incredibly full-featured and versatile. I’ve also tried Jolt and Rapier, but couldn’t really get my head around some of their newer physics paradigms and quirks. Cannon has always just worked for my projects, and its predictability and ease of use keep me productive, even if it’s not the fastest engine out there. I can see the appeal of the faster WASM engines, but dealing with memory management and inspect ability can get tricky, so for now Cannon remains my go-to.
