Mount a geometry to bone from a GLTF model

Hello all, is it possible to mount a generated geometry in Threejs to a bone of a GLTF model?

I have a GLTF model which has an animation, I have a geometry created in Threejs that is not part of the GLTF model, is it possible to mount this geometry to one of the existing bones of the model? And if so, can you point me in the direction of how to do this?

The solution I’m looking for is to have the geometry move together with the animation of the model.

If there is a way to do this (without having to adjust the model in for example Blender) I would love to know how to do this.
