Luddo House: multiplayer Luddo at a 3D table

Hello everyone, we recently built Luddo House, a multiplayer Luddo game you play at a 3D table in a furnished room. We grew up playing Luddo on a real board with friends and family, and we wanted something that feels like sitting at that table again, even when everyone lives far apart. You can play it here: https://luddohouse.com

It’s built with React Three Fiber, Drei and Three.js. A few things we spent a lot of time on in 3D:

  • Five rooms to play in: an apartment overlooking a city skyline, a mahogany study, a café, a lake cabin and a rooftop
  • Glass pieces by default, plus marble and wood styles you earn by playing
  • A physical die that tumbles across the board
  • Seated, overhead and table camera views, orbit/pan/zoom, and an optional action camera for captures and finishes
  • Quality presets that step down automatically on slower devices

It runs in the browser on desktop and mobile with nothing to install. Create a private room, share the link, and friends join with just a name. There’s also offline practice against computer players, pass-and-play on one device, and a Party Mode that puts the table on a TV with phones as controllers.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, especially on performance on your device and how the camera feels on mobile. Bug reports are very welcome too.
