Hey everyone!
Brickbrag started as a cozy little brick builder and kind of got out of hand. Now it’s one big shared world where everyone builds together, and when you’re done you can hop on a bus, buy a car, race on the track or fly a trike over the city.
The multiplayer part was the most fun to build. Movement uses client side prediction and lag compensation, following Valve’s old Half-Life networking paper, so it feels instant even with a bad connection. The world is split into chunks and you only get what’s near you, which keeps the traffic small and lets one server handle a lot of players.
The bricks are real LDraw parts that snap like the real thing, and everything is baked at build time so it loads fast even on phones.
