Has anyone done spherical area lights in Three yet? Something like in this video:
No one replied, so I changed the title: “who wants spherical area lights?”
Will think about this. Having any shape area (or volume) light would be cool for vfx.

Not yet today, but one day we might get accustomed to:
var myLight = THREE.MeshLight( geometry, 'white', 5 );
Yeah, today we have RectAreaLight, so I wonder if we can just have a TriangleAreaLight. Then, a mesh light is just a bunch of those (I’m sure that’s easy to say :).
