# What does the "pc" in "pc\_fragColor" stand for?

My first thought was “playcanvas”, pc.this, pc.that, etc, but that can’t be it. 😜 What’s the abbreviation?

If you click on the [Blame] button in GitHub, it will show the person who might give the best answer.

Edit: But you may need to go deeper in the history, as several people might have worked on these lines of the code. I was able to track this `pc_` down to March 2018, when it appeared for the first time.

I saw that 2018 pull request from Takahirox (the username doesn’t appear here in the forums), but it doesn’t mention what it stands for. I’ll try asking Takahirox outside of here…
