# THREEJS SpotLight not casting shadows

so i did search around and used gpt and i couldn’t make my spotlight cast shadows (it works with he directional light).

Please paste your code.

My guess is the intensity of the spotlight is not enough. Try changing to 100 or 1000

it was the intensity indeed , i just thought the value range was 0-\>1. lol …
