# \[Small Project\] Apply shaders to an threejs sphere/globe

Hi there,

I have globe which I want to improve, it is based on:

1. Add a nice glow/atmosphere to it, final glow should look something like e.g. in these shaders:

2. Then also try to add Northern lights at the north and south.

For the northern lights, there is already one implementation to three.js started but not finished: https://codepen.io/grum/pen/PoJMOoZ?editors=0010
