If a problem is being found in a release, is new release being created? Does a release ever change after it is being created?
If I find a bug in a release, should I expect it to get fixed? Or is it better to work with the master (or dev) branch?
I originally worked with the master branch, but switched to a release thinking that it will be more stable…

If it’s a major bug, yes, the release is normally updated with a hotfix. The decision for this is made by @mrdoob.

In general, you should always work with the master branch since the dev branch can be unstable at certain points in a development cycle.

If you need a minor fix from the dev branch between releases, you can always build the files yourself.
