Is [RectAreaLight](https://threejs.org/examples/?q=rectarea#webgpu_lights_rectarealight) good enough for your scenario?

You can emulate a fluorescent light tube with a cylinder of ReactAreaLights.

You can then also use `emissive` with postprocessing to enable [glow effects](https://threejs.org/examples/?q=emiss#webgpu_postprocessing_bloom_emissive).

If your lights won’t move, you can “bake” some of those lights in Blender into textures, then import them into Three. The non-dynamic light information will be contained in Textures, which greatly improves performance in certain scenarios without realtime dynamic lights.
