Hiring 3D Full-Stack Software Engineer (Three.js / Angular / Node.js)

Hi, we are a startup company, and we are developing a website for digital orthodontics. We need full-stack professionals to work with 3D meshes of teeth

The main features that we want to implement are checking collisions between teeth, teeth alignment, 3D model registration, and animation

If you are interested and have relevant skills and experience, please write to my email: vasyl.koval.ortho.eye@gmail.com

Hi, How are u today. plz check your Gmail. I’m looking forward to hearing from u. Best Regards, Martin Varga

Hi Vasyl Koval, I’ve sent you an email from franky@arkon.digital. Looking forward to cooperating with you.

Hi Vasyl, just sent you an email. Regards, Haseeb

Hi, Vasyl.

your project stood out because it goes beyond a normal Three.js viewer. The real work is in tooth collision, registration, alignment, and treatment-stage movement, which is close to the kind of 3D dental work.

I sent you a detailed proposal by email with how I’d approach the geometry and full-stack side.
When you have a moment, take a look and let me know how far along the current implementation is.

Best,
Sebastian Cole.

that sounds cool,

Your main challenge is not simply displaying tooth meshesβ€”it is building reliable geometric operations for collision checking, alignment, registration, and animation while keeping the web experience responsive and accurate.

My background includes CAD/3D software, geometry processing, OpenGL, Three.js/WebGL, Python/C++, and interactive 3D applications. For dental meshes, I would treat collision detection and registration as geometry problems first, then expose them through a clean full-stack workflow.

A key technical point is performance: tooth-to-tooth collision checks should use spatial acceleration such as BVH/AABB structures rather than brute-force triangle comparisons. For registration, ICP or feature-assisted rigid alignment can be combined with transformation constraints to keep positioning stable.

  1. Review your mesh formats, current frontend/backend stack, and orthodontic workflow.
  2. Build optimized 3D mesh loading, visualization, selection, and transform tools.
  3. Implement collision detection and inter-tooth distance checks.
  4. Add alignment and 3D registration using rigid transforms/ICP-based methods.
  5. Build staged tooth movement and animation with saved treatment states.
  6. Connect geometry operations to backend APIs, storage, and user/project management.

Please send your current prototype, sample tooth meshes, preferred stack, and first feature you want implemented. I can review the architecture and propose the first development milestone.

Thanks

Hi Vasyl, we have emailed you a proposal from vmyaros@gmail.com: our approach to collisions, registration and staging, plus a fixed-price first milestone on your sample meshes. Maxim Yaroshenko Β· estudio MY

Could you elaborate on how you’d use ICP for tooth registration? What exactly would you be registering against?
