Here After All, a walkable memory estate in the browser

Here After All is a pair of persistent 3D worlds, the Vale and the Shore, where families keep permanent plots: a stone with their person’s name, a garden they shape, and a walk-in memory palace of photographs, letters and voice. Walking is free and needs no account: The Vale · Here After All

Some notes for this crowd. The whole estate runs on a hard constraint: it must hold up on whatever hardware a grieving family owns, so the night is carried by a single real light with painted emissives doing the rest, ground overlays render additively above the terrain, and the landing page defers the entire three.js chunk behind an IntersectionObserver with a painted poster holding the LCP. Integrated GPUs are the design floor..
