I built Geotemporal Transurfing, a small prototype using Three.js.\

Orbit Earth, zoom into historical events, and pause, reverse or fast-forward time and event footage. Travel to another location in X, Y, Z to discover what was happening elsewhere around the same time.

It uses static historical data and archival media. I’d appreciate feedback on the globe movement, time controls and transitions between events.
