# Export blender material animations to GLTF not supported?

Hello all, I found this article dated 4 years back: [python - Export Material Node Animations in GLTF (or other) exporter - Blender Stack Exchange](https://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/127790/export-material-node-animations-in-gltf-or-other-exporter)

@donmccurdy I saw that you answered this question saying that this will probably be supported soon. But can it be that this is still not the case? If so can you maybe give some alternatives to achieve this?

No, sorry, it isn’t supported. The glTF support can be tracked in the [KHR\_animation\_pointer](https://github.com/KhronosGroup/glTF/pull/2147) pull request. In addition to that it would need to be implemented by three.js and Blender to have a full workflow.
