This is kind of an old idea of mine, really wanted to show my Hokkaido trip photos back in 2023 in a flippable 3D photo album, but I just couldn’t find the time to visualize it. Then I finally found one rather free weekend to work on this, progressed rather quickly with the help of free Blender assets and agentic coding.
I’ve had the most fun in this project doing 2 things: 1. finding suitable desk items to give a cozy vibe, and 2. arranging the photos and stamps in the virtual album
It is kind of a soothing/cathartic experience, possibly because my real working desk setup is rather fixed and small but I have all the luxury to design a whole new desk in the virtual world hahah!
Anyway, here’s the live demo link(best viewed on desktop or mobile landscape mode): My Photo Album (I’ve credited the models I used in the bottom-left button)
