# Cisco Workspace Designer: Design the perfect meeting room in 3D

An interactive 3D configurator for meeting rooms.

- Set the room size, table type, number of chairs, and select video devices and microphones.
- See if the camera and mics are covering the room you have designed
- Look how the view is from the camera point of view

Implemented with React Three Fiber by a small team of enthusiastic web developers in Cisco Norway 🇳🇴.

We used the SoftShadow component of Drei. Highly recommended. [SoftShadows - Drei](https://drei.docs.pmnd.rs/shaders/soft-shadows)  
For the shadow beneath the room itself, we just used a blurry bitmap, since there isn’t really an actual plane to cast a shadow on there
