**Awards Racing** — a browser game about drifting and fighting your way through an endless, physics-dense world, built with three.js and the Bullet physics engine (compiled to WebAssembly). Made mostly for fun, with a slightly unhinged theme: you’re a young design-award nominee racing to the top, dodging angry jury members and rival nominees along the way.

## Highlights

- Infinite plane packed with destructible physical clutter — objects are pooled, not allocated mid-game, and streamed in/out in cells around the car
- Arcade-tuned drift on top of Bullet’s car physics — fun over sim-accuracy
- Soft-body characters: no skeleton, each driver is a sphere of mass points and springs, deformed live and synced to the beat of the soundtrack
- Physics-driven VFX — explosions and projectiles actually push the same objects the car smashes through
- Custom explicit scene submission (long-lived objects baked into linear arrays instead of the default `renderer.render(scene, camera)`) plus a small JSON-based render-pipeline constructor, running on both WebGL2 and WebGPU
- Stage progression with smarter/faster rivals, a full material swap per stage, two camera modes, day/night
- Touch controls, gamepad, a dedicated portrait UI for mobile
